SoftMachine - CNC verification
SoftMachine is a software machine tool for NC programmers to verify post-processed machine code data. With SoftMachine, NC programmer's and operators visualize in real-time the entire machining operation including tools, fixtures, palletizers and parts. The simulated machine tool motion can be used to verify programs and reduce prove out time leaving the real machine tool available for production.
After running SoftMachine you will know:
- If the machine will run collision free
- How the machine components interact
- How long the part will take to machine
- If the tool set-up is correct
- If the machine tool will exceed its limits
- If the post-processor is correct, and
- How part fixturing should be set up
SoftMachine can be used to prove out programs for any NC machine tool. If a machine tool manufacturer can build it, SoftMachine can simulate it!
